Owner
Angie became the owner of Pasco Camera in April 2025, stepping into a business with nearly 30 years of history and a strong connection to the local photography community. Since taking ownership, she has immersed herself in learning about cameras, gear, brands, and—most importantly—the people who make up the Pasco Camera community.
Her goal is to honor Pasco Camera’s legacy while looking toward the future—bringing in new brands, products, gear, and services while continuing to make the store a welcoming place for photographers, creators, hobbyists, and anyone interested in photography.
Former Owner, Operations Associate
Jim's interest in photography began in the 1970's taking photos of his Boy Scout troop's camping trips and other events with his Kodak Brownie camera. While attending college in Joplin, Missouri, he was the editor of the school's yearbook for three years. He moved back to the Tampa Bay area and worked for three local camera stores before he and his wife, Annette, opened Pasco Camera in 1995.
Jim and Annette worked together for 30 years growing Pasco Camera into a successful business. The store was awarded Florida Main Street Business of the Year, West Pasco Chamber Small Business of the Year, and received many other community awards. In 2025, the torch was passed onto the new owners, Angie and Jose Orrego. Today, Jim works with Angie and the crew to help Pasco Camera continue to be the sucessful family run business it has been into the future.
